There are plenty of things to do in Camber Sands including a range of watersports, activities and attractions nearby. From beach days and coastal walks, to nature reserves, castles, cultural attractions and adventure activities. There’s something at Camber for everyone of all ages to enjoy.

Take a trip along the coast to Dungeness which is close to the power station.  Here you can pick up the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway.  There are a couple of pubs in Dungeness too.

Rye is an English town near the coast in East Sussex. In the centre, cobbled lanes like Mermaid Street are lined with medieval, half-timbered houses. The redbrick Lamb House was once owned by writer Henry James. Nearby, the tower of the Norman St. Mary’s Church overlooks the town. The 14th-century Ypres Tower, which formed part of Rye’s defences, is now Rye Castle Museum, with paintings and displays on local history.

At Dymchurch Amusement Park they believe in offering a great family fun day out. You really can’t beat the traditional favourites if ­you’re after a great time and want to give your kids a day out to remember.

The Rare Breeds Center near Ashford is a perfect day out for families with over 100 acres of unspoilt Kent Country Side.

There is plenty to see in Hastings, shops, restaurants, aquarium, amusement parks and even has its own funicular railway.  A beautiful full beach too.

Dover does not take long to drive to from Camber.  If you fancy a day out in France you can easily catch a ferry over - you will need your passport.  Dover Castle is a great place for adults and children - very interesting tours to go on and see how the castle was used in WW2.

The Ypres Tower is a Scheduled Ancient Monument. It has uneven floors, low doorways, uneven steps and no lift. The Women’s Tower is situated in the garden, down a flight of steps. There is a Virtual Tour available on the main floor.

They are located a 2 minute's walk from the Camber teaching zone at number 123 Lydd Rd. They are not on the beach, but are in Broomhill carpark.  They do have a physical shop where you can buy kitesurfing equipment and accessories. The kitesurfing teaching zone is 200m from their door.
